Eutelsat is going with a new brand identity to tap into the U.S. market. The company announced the new name Eutelsat Network Solutions for the subsidiary formerly known as Eutelsat America Corp. + OneWeb Technologies Inc. (EACOWT). Eutelsat said it aligns with the company’s evolution as a provider of purpose-built, end-to-end satellite communications solutions customized for the U.S. government and its allies. The company announced the new brand and identity on Oct. 14.

Eutelsat Network Solutions is the U.S. proxy company of parent company, Eutelsat, with access to its Geostationary Orbit (GEO) fleet and OneWeb constellation.

This comes after Eutelsat rolled out a new brand identity for the company last month, doing away with OneWeb as a separate subsidiary but keeping it the name of the Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation.

“Eutelsat Network Solutions reflects our commitment to working side by side, as trusted advisors, with our customers and partners to design and deliver tailored network solutions. With access to multiple orbits, and the agility to respond to complex mission requirements, we are uniquely positioned to support our customers’ needs. Eutelsat Network Solutions is also retiring the ‘EACOWT’ brand and consolidating the digital presence of the former Eutelsat America Corp. and OneWeb Technologies Inc. brands,” Ian Canning, President and CEO, Eutelsat Network Solutions, said in statement.

Canning was named president and CEO in January of this year. He was previously the COO of OneWeb Technologies’ predecessor TrustComm, and he helped lead the merger and integration with Eutelsat America Corp. in 2023.
